Lead is looking for compassionate volunteers to join our Parent Peer Support Program. This meaningful opportunity connects you with other parents who are seeking support, guidance, and a listening ear. As a volunteer, you will:

- Share your experiences, providing comfort and connection
Connections can be made in person, over the phone or online and are scheduled at times that work best for you. All volunteers will receive training and ongoing support to ensure they feel confident and equipped to make a real difference.

Our Donors
Parent and Community Donations:
Every year we receive donations from our families, staff and community members. These donations may be in terms of time, monetary, and/or materials, such as toys. Some of our families have donated specific items, for example, a laminator to improve the efficiency and cost of program materials. We appreciate every donation that we receive to our program!
Kinsmen Club of the Stampede City
Our 2nd Annual Kinsmen Charity Golf Classic was held at the stunning Kananaskis Country Golf Course on May 25th, 2024. This event exceeded our expectations, thanks to the unwavering support and dedication of the Kinsmen, our volunteers, sponsors, participants, and everyone who contributed to make it possible. Whether you were on the greens, behind the scenes, or supporting from afar, your efforts ensured a fantastic day of golf and significantly impacted our success. Thank you for your sharing your time, talent, and treasures, and for helping us create lasting memories.
The Kinsmen have also generously sponsored our very successful movie events which are a great opportunity for Lead families to enjoy a community event in an inclusive space. Many families mentioned it was their first time trying a movie on the big screen with their little one! We were thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of these experiences and celebrate the successes (no matter how big or small) with our Lead families.
Kids Up Front
Kids Up Front is one of our community partners who have donated event tickets and experiences to our families on a regular basis. Their ticket donations allowed our children and families to experience events like hockey games, concerts, theatre, the circus, Telus Spark, Calgary Zoo and Calaway Park Learn more here about: Kids Up Front.
Pason Systems Calgary
Thankyou to Pason Systems, one of our generous donors over many years, we appreciate you!
Memorial Drive Chiropractic & Massage
Memorial Drive Chiropractic & Massage is one of our community partners. Over the years, Dr. Ryan Wagemakers and his staff have generously donated to our foundation. With their monetary contributions, we have been able to upgrade our technology and provide our families with additional resources in our lending library.
GoodLife Kids Grant
Lead was a proud recipient of the GoodLife Kids Grant where we received funding to provide ongoing physical activity opportunities for our families throughout the year. This grant improves community access and helps remove some of the barriers preventing children from living active lives.
Go Dental
Go Dental held a fundraising initiative via Facebook, with $5.00 for every new follower contributing to their generous donation of $995.00. Go Dental also supported Lead through additional fundraising efforts and opportunities to educate our children and families about oral health.
Allies for Autism Foundation
Lead Foundation was thrilled to have been awarded grants over the past decade through Allies for Autism Foundation, which gave us the opportunity to update our technology including laptops, electronic devices (iPad, iTouch), therapeutic apps and game systems and laptops for our children and families.
